Cloning

While I love Religion and Ethics weekly, I really think they dropped the ball on this story. A lot of the concerns they focused on about cloning are not unique to cloning. Of course the clone wouldn't be exactly the same person as the orginal. If a person was cloned to replace someone how is that any different than having a child after one dies? Also, the idea that the clone would have troubles defining who was their family and what their relationship with the people around them is one that annoys me. There are many different types of families out there which proves that the notice of family is flexiable and wouldn't be destroyed by allowing cloning.

on that note, i don't think they should clone human until they perfect the process.
