Maintenance
Apr. 4th, 2013 01:35 pmBoth my car and Zach's bike is in for maintenance.
Zach's bike is getting an overhaul with a bunch of new parts, including brakes, and everything will be oiled up.
My car is getting the 30k maintenance thing, an oil change and new brakes.
Car brakes are so much more expensive than bike brakes. The brakes for my car cost almost twice as much as Zach's bike's entire overhaul. It makes me really happy we only have one car to worry about.
Also, this pretty much blows our budget for a new toilet/futon.

Date: 2013-04-04 07:59 pm (UTC)The toilet in the guest bathroom is original to the condo and stopped working about a year ago. It is a weird size so will cost ~$500 to replace.
We have a futon but it is pretty uncomfortable to sleep on and we have debated replacing it because once the summer comes around we will be sleeping on it because the office (room you stayed in) is the only room that we can really use the AC in. If I find the futon uncomfortable when I am not pregnant I am pretty sure it is going to be worse when I am 6-8 months along.
