All day long I couldn't think very well. I thought I was just tired or something but it turned out I was getting a headache. Bah Humbug. At least that explained the tiredness.

This made me sad because I couldn't get any quilting done. I don't quilt while I have headaches because I make so many mistakes. Zach and I watched some Wallander instead. I am still not sure if I liked it or not.

I watch a lot of TV. I don't mean I randomly watch TV but rather I watch a lot of TV shows. I don't get why people are so against TV. There are such good things on. Some series rival good books.

I sort of wish I could take a week off and just work on my house. I have so many little project to do but I am always so tired that I rarely have the energy to do them. Plus when I do have energy I want to spend that time reading or quilting.

I LOVE good TV (I also have a fondness for some really, really bad TV, but it's on a different level). I don't understand why people get so weirdly snobby about TV - a good, well-written, well-acted TV show is so much more enjoyable and thought-provoking than a crappy movie or book.

I completely agree. I would hold up Mad Men to pretty much any well-written novel of our time. It is just that good.

Good TV isn't passive or brain-numbing. It makes you think and figure things out.
