gwangi and I went to the Detroit Cobras. Their opening band was Girl in a Coma. I hadn't really listened to either one of these bands before we went to the concert and I enjoyed both of them (though Detroit Cobras had a really rocky start). This makes me think I need to be introduced to more bands since I have been listening to the same ones I have listened to forever.
Do you have suggestions?
On a side note, we got to the concert and were looking for a place to sit because Zach had fallen off his bike on Thursday and banged up himself pretty badly. His knee was sprained enough that when I saw a couch half full I went over to ask the people sitting on it if we could share. It turns out it wasall_hail_duke! I didn't know this because I had met him in person once and I think he has only posted pictures of himself a couple times. He recogized me because my icon is usually a picture of myself. It was cool to talk to someone that has been a lj friend for year that I really haven't talked to in person before!
