I just asked gwangi out to a fancy restaurant week dinner (his pick) next week. I have never done restaurant week before and while it would be cheaper to do lunch, it just doesn't work out. Plus this way I get to get dressed up and do my hair.

Eee!!! I am excited.

There is just nothing more fun than having a partner you don't HAVE to dress up for, but you CAN dress up for and it's awesome good fun. I love that.

There's a killer-nice restaurant Lance and I try to go to about once a year. It's sooper expensive but sooper fun to dress up and do a mega-fancy meal, the food there is always amazing.

That is what I was thinking! This is going to be fun. I am even going to make sure I can leave early enough to get all dolled up (mostly blow dry my hair).

I've been to the Dakota a few times (in fact Karri and my first date was there) but I don't think we ever dressed up. Or you know, ate dinner there.
