Sunday afternoon I caught a show about the French Revolution while I was hanging out at my parents house. Ever since I have been reading up on it. I think I need to go to the library and get a couple books on it.

I love history.

Have you read War and Peace?

Couple of suggestions: Liberty: The Lives and Times of Six Women in Revolutionary France by Lucy Moore, and The Days of the French Revolution by Christopher Hibbert. I don't think either book enabled me to get my head entirely around the revolution--I think it's too big and complex a topic for one book to do that--but they were a start.

I love history too. The Roman-era fascinates me most, hence my envy of your forthcoming trip to Turkey :p

I can set you up with a calendar that may or may not have information about the French revolution! (I honestly don't remember) I just got them!

I got very interested in the French Revolution when I went to Paris - for some reason, I'm interested in revolutions, in general, actually.
