I am a little obsessed with food lately. I think it is part of the " Autmnal Nesting Fever" that
damncutekitty named and I have right now. Anyways, I just read this meme that
frozenrhino took and there was one question I wanted to answer and would like to know your answers.
What are three of the best dining-out experiences you've had?
1. Dinner with Sun, Jonghyeon and his parents when we were in South Korea where this video was taken. We had Shabu Shabu and at the end of the dinner we had the noodles I was trying to eat with kimchi on them. It was fantastic.
2. Christmas Day 1998. Serinia and I met Jens, who was stationed in Germany at the time, in England for Christmas. We were in Bath and couldn't find any place to eat other then this Turkish restaurant. None of us had any idea what sort of food that was but we were hungry. We sat in the restaurant for hours and the owners kept bringing us things to try because we told them we didn't know any of the food. We still talk about this dinner often. As a bonus, here is a picture of me on this trip.
3. I think possibly Angie's birthday dinner a couple weeks ago. We went to Ichiban and everything I ate was so good and there was such good company that I came out of the resturant giddy.
Now, this list would totally change if we talked about the three best home dining in experiences I have had. My old friend Heather would make great food, once I had homemade pizza with Sara and Nathan that was so good that I dream about it and my grandma would make the best Christmas dinner where even lutefisk was good.
Mmm... I am so glad I have dinner plans tonight.
