Random Stuff

1. I have too many clothes. This happens every year about this time when I start getting more clothes for spring/summer and still have my winter clothes in my closet. However, I need to put shelves up in my spare closet before I can sort through my stuff and put the winter clothes away.

2. Last night I started Anthony Bourdain's Kitchen Confidential and I have to say that his style of writing is really easy to read. I didn't expect that.

3. I still haven't made cheesecake. I don't know what is stopping me.

4. I am feeling really broke right now, I know it is because I am going to Korea and bought a plane ticket and I have been buying clothes but I hate it when my savings goes down instead of up.

5. I really want to get my living room finished. I waver between getting that done or doing my bathroom and the last week or so it has been the living room. However, I don't want to do that (I hate sheet rocking ceilings) so I should get bids so I know how much I should save to get it done.

6. My hair was really greasy last week. I don't know why but today it is back to mostly normal. I just washed it too much last week so it is really dry now. I also need to buy shampoo. SIGH.

7. I am very baby crazy right now. It seems like everyone is pregnant, trying to get pregnant or just had a baby.

8. Eric bought my cats a laser pen and they love it. Whenever I am in my office they meow until I start playing with them.

9. I need to update my 101 in 1001 list. I am working on rewriting some of the items so I can tell when I have finished them.

Everyone I know seems to like "Kitchen Confidential"... I really ought to get a copy. His TV shows are amusing, so its not like I don't like the guy.

The boy cat will get pathetic if my hand goes anywhere near the laser pointer. His eyes go REALLY WIDE and he starts squeaking... which, from a sixteen pound lump of muscles and black fur, is amusing. He KNOWS that's where that damnable little red bug that he can't catch comes from (even though I tried convincing him it comes out of/goes back into the air vent).

They have "Kitchen Confidential" at the library. His voice is really strong, he write very much like he talks in his shows and that might have made it much easier to read. I am pretty sure I'll finish it tonight it is such a quick read.

It is a funny complusion. I know that buying a plane ticket is why I was saving but actually spending the money is hard.

I read that book in 2 days. It was so engaging that I couldn't put it down.

Exactly! I really didn't think he would be that good of a writer.
