Background information: The last three inches of my hair is leftover from when I used to dye it. I keep going back and forth between growing it out with that part on it and cutting it off to the un-dyed hair. Also, my hair is much longer than it is in my icon.

I like it long, I just don't know about the fact that it is a different color at the ends. It was ok when it was higher up my head but now you can really tell the color difference.

Yeah, I feel the same way. I want to grow it out but I don't know if it would just be a different color like it is.

Your current length looks fantastic on you. I vote for trimming the ends off a bit at a time rather than losing the whole three inches at once.

I think you should cut it so the color is all the same. It's also good to have nice healthy hair while growing it out. I'm working on growing my hair out right now, too, but I make sure to still trim it every once in a while. But that's just my opinion. :)

I would still get it trimmed. I love hair cuts too much to stop cutting it unless I have to cut back on expenses.

I really like this length. I actually want to get it to be a couple inches longer so it is a little easier to pull back. I figure it would take another six months or so to get rid of that 3 inches your way.

That's not so bad, and you won't lose noticeable amount of length that way. Unless those six months will make you crazy? I'm trying to grow mine back out, so I tend to lean toward not losing length.

My hair grows pretty fast. I only started growing it out in November. It is just now that the color change hits the light more it annoys me. However, if I keep it up then it isn't so bad.

Oh, well then in that case, I'd say just trim it and keep growing it out. :)
