101 in 1001 Update
Feb. 1st, 2008 09:51 amThis month I joined a gym (#003) and got my passport renewed (#012). I also worked on many of the ones that are about starting a routine, like managing my migraines (#001), taking my calcium (#002) and being more social. I research Lasik (#009) and I am thinking that my tax returns will pay for that. I bought a scanner (#051) and started to organize my old photos (#053). I have been good at both not biting my nails (#061) and not cutting my hair (#062).
This month I plan on finishing up reorganizing my bedroom closets (#020) which was only held up because of me getting sick over the last week. I also plan on tackling the finishing work on my desk (#018) and the baseboards (#017). I am going to trying and get my parents webcam set up (#043) and start visiting my grandparents (#040).
Depending on my mood next month, I might work on making my t-shirt quilt (#050). I have a lot of Halloween t-shirts that I just don't like wearing anymore because I feel like a kid in them. I do, however, still love them and want to make a quilt out of them. I don't think it would take that long to get the first phase done, the cutting and interfacing of each of the blocks. I think this might be the project I'll work on this month.
Finally, I added a new item, which is to write my Great-Aunt Evelyn monthly (#70). I always mean to write her more but I put it off too much. Plus she sent me some candlesticks for Christmas and I owe her a thank you letter for that at least. Actually, she would like to hear about this list because she is very much into getting things done.
Behind the cut is the full list with updates. Some of the items have been revised since last month because they weren't as clear as I could have made them since I wrote it so fast.

Date: 2008-02-01 06:12 pm (UTC)You know, you could talk to Lance about 030 and 031, either via email or phone. It's what he does, and conversing/advising is free of charge. Also, if you opt to even consider making KY one of your 014, know we now have a futon and you could totally crash on it. LOL!

Date: 2008-02-01 07:09 pm (UTC)I might talk to him about them, though I do have a finacial planner person that I pay, so I could ask him too. I keep going back and forth on the ROTH, I just don't know if it makes sense for me to convert. Blah! I am putting those off for now.
I might make KY one of those. I am tempted to go for a renassance weekend. I want to see your booth but I am not sure if it would be this summer or next. Plus there are some other people to meet up with in that general section of the US. (I don't know if you noticed this but I have no shame when it comes to visiting people I met online)

Date: 2008-02-03 07:28 am (UTC)The "lose 20 pounds" has to with this mental picture of myself. I actually don't have much issue with my current weight (I am 5'9" and weigh 170 pounds). The most I ever weighed was 195 pounds and about a year and a half ago I decided that it was time to just lose 30 pounds and I almost got there. However, until I got out of college I was really skinny and I sort of have this nagging feeling that I'll be happier at 150 pounds. I know this isn't true but I figure if I can lose the weight and keep it off for 6 months I'll prove to myself once and for all that no matter what my weight is I have to learn to be comfortable in my own skin.
There is my rambling and my weird motivation for losing 20 pounds. Plus, this is my mom, it is a wonder I don't have food issues since I have to call her to remind her to eat.
