you know what i love? that after years of working with classic asp that asp.net has a real debugger. i love it. now, if only it didn't make my computer so slow.

You know what I hate? Eclipse's debugger. Like most Java debuggers it's geared towards desktop app code flow, but Java is almost entirely webapp-oriented these days (including the work we do).

Give me System.out.println for debugging anyday.

i have no idea about that. i just started using a debugger about two weeks ago because i didn't understand how sweet it is.

I remain generally unimpressed with debuggers in general outside of gdb, which is only useful in certain situations (i.e. when using gcc to compile something written in C, C++, or Objective-C).
