Cold

I am working from home today because it was taking too long to get out of the city. My house is really chilly because I don't have enough radiators. I just emailed some guy on craigslist about some radiators that he had for sale. I am really hoping they are still for sale because they were perfect.

I guess it is 66 in here but I think it is because I am trying to work that it is really bugging me today. Usually I just get under a bunch of blankets and it isn't a big deal.

My Day

1. My drive sucked and I ended up back at home.
2. I worked.
3. I tried to keep Harriet from sleeping on my work laptop and drinking my hot chocolate.
4. I shoveled out my parking spot because some dude plowed the alley. This dude didn't plow it in a straight line:

5. I watched the mini-series V while I worked.
6. I worried about gwangi because he took a long time getting home.
7. I learned that my brother Jens gets a second day off because the Minneapolis school district has a second snow day.
8. I am nervous about the commute to work tomorrow.
9. I am waiting for Zach to get home from watching the Vikings game.

Snow Plow in the Night

They plowed my alley! Yay!

Not only did they plow the alley but they removed all the giant piles of snow that were in the alley and moved them to the street and piled them out there.



You can see the picture I took here. It was pretty awesome.

BTW, it is funny how dressing in snow pants, a down jacket and boots can make you forget it is cold out.

Also, I am going to stop talking about snow and plowing one of these days, I swear.
