Weekend

I am starting to get more energy. Not a ton but enough that I worked of getting rid of things. It is funny how much stuff we have that we didn't get rid of in the last purge. Right now I look at things and debate if it is worth keeping around with a baby coming.

I have a good amount of craft stuff. I was thinking about having a craft swap so I can get rid of the excess. However, I am not sure what I would do with the leftovers. I have to think on this.

I am pretty ruthlessly going through my closet. I have almost brand new shoes I never wear. I have clothes that I haven't worn for at least a year and I won't be able to fit for at least another year. At least I have a clothing swap coming where I can get rid of these things.

We are going to have a garage sale again this year over May Day parade weekend. I have started sticking things in bags for this sale.

I know babies don't take up much space and we already have a space that will be for the baby but I really want to make room for the baby. I sometimes feel like there is so much stuff we have that we don't need.

Next week is Zach's spring break and he is going to work on the nursery. Right now there is a built in desk that needs to be removed and walls that need to be patched. If we can get that done we can start the debate of what color to paint it. Yay!

This could be part of that "nesting" that I hear so much about. :)

Yeah, I don't think it is so hormonal as it is just wanting to have a place to put the baby and all stuff that they need or makes our lives easier.

Here is somewhere leftover crafting stuff can go, if you have it together by April 11 and have time to drop it off: http://www.textilecentermn.org/garagesale.asp

Babies themselves don't take up much space, but remember that their stuff ends up EVERYWHERE and there is SO MUCH OF IT!!!!!!!!!!! And it doesn't get better as they get older, in fact they take over half of your living room and TV room and part of the dining room.
