I miss the days when ljtwincities and twin_cities were more popular. It was a flame war almost ever day.

This is my favorite. Zach was coming to a party at my house about a month after we met. Then this happened and all my friends were "you like the bunny killer???".

Oh... those were the days.

The best part of it is that I'd already been to Cub, Lunds (the one at Portland and 62, which I think is a Lunds, anyway), and a butcher shop near work before asking. It's not like I'd just gone straight to pet stores as an option.

I miss that too.
I met a lot of people through those communities, and now they're pretty much dead. The communities. Not the people. As far as I know.

I think you're probably right. My LJ-ing took a marked hit with the advent of FB and now is just starting to climb back up again. Maybe we'll see a community uptick soon?
