Coffee

I drink a lot of (decaf) coffee. There is a Caribou about a block from my office so I have started buying a lot of coffee from there (for $1.70 a cup). That adds up quickly and made me buy a coffee maker and some grounds. However, I am lazy in the morning and don't make a pot for myself. I also don't have a good travel mug so I can't bring it in the car easily.

A few weeks a go I went to Spy House Coffee and got decaf latte there. It was $4. It was the best cup of coffee I have had in ages. I am thinking that as a reward to myself for not going to caribou I will treat myself to one of their cups of coffee if I make it the whole week without going to caribou.

Just set your coffee maker up the night before! Then in the morning all you have to do is turn it on.

What about getting a coffee maker and taking it to work. That's what I did.

I like the idea of giving yourself a weekly treat in exchange for making coffee at home the rest of the time. Is your coffee maker programmable? My Mr. Coffee has a timed brew function that I like. Mr. Coffee has some pretty inexpensive models, if you'd like to pick up a coffee brewer with a timer.

Can you bring your coffee pot to work and make it at your desk? :)
