Sewing

I bought a really cute dress today that was on clearance. The problem with it is that the bust is too tight (this happens to me pretty often). So I am going to fix it, cause I think it would be easy. The questions is, should I use a gusset or should I put a corset back into it?

It is funny, a year ago I wouldn't even had tried this.

I think it really depends on the dress. Can you post a photo?

Here you go:

The back, it is only about an inch short and I would have to let out 4 seams to get enough fabric. I think this would be hard with the pleats.

The side view, I am not sure a gusset would be that much fun to put in:

The other upside to a corset back is that if I do get pregnant that this dress would change with me (during and after).

I'm a big fan of sticking some thick ribbon on those side seams and calling it a "detail".

Oh! That might work also.
