Wedding

Last night I had a stress dream about the wedding. It wasn't what I needed today. I think it is a good time to go on vacation and not think about things.

I have been reading the community weddingplans the last couple weeks. I am not sure if this is helping my anxiety by reminding me that I am pretty low-key and put together or adding to it because I am hearing all the drama of other people's weddings.

Things to do this month:
1. Send out form to collect addresses
2. Get the Wedding Website up (maybe this would be good to work on while we are on vacation)
3. Mail out Save the Dates (We should get these in the mail today or tomorrow)
4. Book a block of rooms for out of town people
5. Plane ticket (just drop again!!!)
6. Get on my sister about picking a dress
7. Talk to the Baker
8. Start the registry (bah)
9. Think about flowers
10. Think about what Zach is going to wear.
11. Find an officiant.
12. Talk to Amy about the invitation.


Next month? Time to start making the centerpieces!

That's a decent to-do list, nothing you can't tackle. Don't freak! :)

If you are going on vacation to "not think about things" I don't think that the proposed timing of "2. Get the Wedding Website up (maybe this would be good to work on while we are on vacation)" will be very conducive to that end. ;)

As to #11, I am a minister if you need one and can do non-denominational if that is your wish. :)

But that is fun, opposed to other things that are stressing me out. I actually like wedding planning, it is just that I have been working 50-60 hours a week the last few weeks.

So out of curiosity, you're allowed to like, postpone a wedding if it's getting too stressful to give yourself more time, right?... I mean dresses don't go bad (meat dresses notwithstanding).

we could. However, at this point we have paid a deposit of $1500 so my parents would lose that.
