Breakfast

I have been eating breakfast since Saturday because I bought a bunch of yougurt last week. I don't normally eat breakfast because I don't like eating first thing in the morning. I also remember that if I eat first thing in the morning that the only thing I can think of all morning is food and how long is it until lunch.

Maybe my mom.

i've been trying to change my eating habits for the better and i often find myself waking up hungry in the morning. if i don't eat breakfast (usually just a bowl of special k and maybe a glass of juice, coffee when i get to work) i can't concentrate.

i usually eat lunch around 11/11:30, and try to snack around 2:30/3 but i often miss the snack.

but i got this sort of meal planning advice when i had a personal trainer, it's supposed to make metabolism work better and stuff.

I have my parent's metabolism which means I burn calories like crazy and can skip meals without thinking about it. I don't think this is a good thing but it is what it is. I am pretty sure that the only way I would lose weight is to actually work out instead of eating differently.

It varies for me - basically I eat when my body tells me it's time to eat, which is sometimes first thing in the morning, sometimes not until 10.00, sometimes not until noon, and so forth. I figure there was a time when humans didn't have clocks to tell them when to eat, so I don't let the clock dictate - I just listen to my body telling me what it needs and when.

That is usually how I am and that means I don't normally eat in the morning. I just don't want food until 11ish and then I have a piece of string cheese (it is easy to keep around). When I do eat in the morning all I do the rest of the day is eat, which is what has happened today.

I eat breakfast - I'm usually quite hungry when I get up! Sometimes I don't eat for a couple hours, though - depends on how much sleep I got and the quality thereof.

It's good to get the metabolism started, and that's also good that you're eating all day. As long as you make good choices (string cheese, fruit, not candy bars and carbs) keeping something in your system keeps your body working.

I, unfortunately, make a lot of bad choices.

I have to eat first thing, if for no other reason than I have a habit of forgetting to eat (I'm so lost in thought most of the time I don't notice I'm hungry), so I've conditioned myself to at least eat something first thing.

I don't like eating in the mornings, but I'm trying to remember to do so, because I make it through the day much better when I do.

I read an article yesterday about how you don't have to eat breakfast *right* after you wake. The research said that eating breakfast within 2 hours of waking is fine to jump-start your metabolism.

I'm terrible about making an iced latte and an apple my breakfast. Protein what?
