Allergies

Today I trimmed back the plant in my bathroom. Two snips of the plant and my face started to tingle. 10 minutes later and my nose was running. 20 minutes later and I was having issues breathing. It was a good thing another shower and snorting water up my nose helped because anti-histamines give me a drug rash and I didn't really want to go to urgent care/the ER for something so silly was trimming the plant in my bathroom.

At least this is the first odd allergy attack of the season for me. Last year I only had one when I laid in a field of dandelions and broke out in hives.

Seriously, my body is so weird.

BTW, in sort of related news, my MRI was completely normal. The neurologist was pretty excited by how textbook it was. So, two more months of seeing how the medication works.

Real allergies (that aren't just hayfeverish) scare the hell out of me. Sneezing, runny nose, no big deal, but swelling body parts and breathing troubles, that's the stuff of nightmares.

The weird thing about this? I didn't have them that bad until my late 20s!! It is getting worse as I get older!

Yeah, I didn't used to have issues with anti-histamines either. :P

Allergies can often get worse as you age. My husband had no allergies until his 30s.

I'm really glad to hear about your normal MRI.
