so, i think the emotion overload is done for now after coming to a head this weekend. thank you all for putting up with the uber-crazy bertine, the normally-crazy bertine is back in control.

this bertine decided that it would be a good idea to sit in a class that she heard good things about. she ended up decided to take the class. this mean (i am sick of the third person, so i am switching here) that i had to pay more for school than i planned and since i made too much money last year i don't even qualify for substisted loans. this comes right during a slow period at the non-'nards job so i am really feeling broke. I was planning on refinancing my condo to take some equity out to pay for school next semester but i might have to push that up. sigh.

there were many things i didn't like about eschelon, the pay check wasn't one of them.

Yeah I don't think much of the whole, "cutting you off from financial aid" even if you make a bit of money... I mean talk about incentive not to do anything!

yeah, basically i don't get anything so i have to pay for it all out of pocket. grad school isn't cheap either, dammit.

good grief, i love school but it is so much money and it is hard to have a good job while going. i lucked out with my situation because both jobs are fleixble but they mostly just cost regular life expensives. sigh.

I just finished, but I had to work three jobs and go to school part time to afford it :/

i planned for this, but it is still hard to spend that much money. all those hours of work.

the worst part is that this degree doesn't even really give me more job finding power.

That's the same situation I was in too!

I lucked out though and found a decent job. Now if we can just manage to prevent the company from going under, I'll even be able to keep it!

well, i have a pretty decent day job, when there is work. bah!

I'm only on aim at home though, when I'm at work, the away msg is up.

Right now I'm working in the area of clinical drug research, meaning I help the doctors do their paper work and try to make sure that the studies follow the ethics guidelines.
