Blah

I am tired and spacey today. Last night after I made bread (which I think I put an extra cup of flour in) I forgot to turn off the oven. This morning I drove all the way to work without my laptop so I had to go back home. I have a headache but I am pretending that it isn't a migraine and I took a lot of advil.

Tomorrow I have to get up at 4:30 to drive my parents to the airport. Then I am going to get a big cup of coffee and go to work early so I can clock in some extra hours. Actually I think it might be a good idea to drink some coffee this morning.

On my long commute this morning I was thinking about how my 32nd year on this planet has been pretty awesome. I have great friends, I met a great guy and I haven't been working so many hours. I also have learned to cut myself some slack, thought this is still a struggle at times.

It is funny, I always had 32 as the age I would "meet the one". I think since I thought this I prepared for it by going to therapy and being open to people more on my last birthday. Yay for self-fulfilling prophecies!

I am still amazed everyday that I found someone that I like hanging out with so much and likes hanging out with me. I don't even really like baseball but I got really into the game last night!

I know what you mean. When [livejournal.com profile] rangerslday and I started hanging out and it got serious, it was like someone opened a can of happy and gave me a spoon. Even after three years of being together, I still smile when I think of her. Life is so much better with that special someone. YEAH US!
