sacramentalist has this cool widget that allows him to make a graph of your friends and how they relate. I think it is
very cool. You can see my brunch group, the people I play rock band with, the people I met because of robotskull and all the people I met because of
posthaste. Also my exes and other old friends that I have on my friends list so they can keep up to date with me.
In other news, I thought I would have all day Saturday open to bake either coconut cupcakes or lemon poppyseed muffins but then I realized that I was going to visit my friend Heather. I should figure out when I am leaving and when I should get home. Hmm...

It spiders through friends lists by calling the .bml scripts. I believe a person's friends won't show if the the friends list isn't publically viewable.
It creates a .dot file graph specification. Then you can put it through a plotter, like neato, or springgraph, which is what I used.

I don't know the graph algorithm well enough to explain why they one if past the other. There may be a "double-bond" when they are mutual friends.
