Xerxes

Xerxes, originally uploaded by bertine.

One day he is going to break the drying rack but at least I finally learned why my bras are always strewn around the place.

Adorable! I know my cats would totally collapse the drying rack if they did that - they are huge.

Xerxes is getting pretty huge. He is only 10 months old and almost 10 pounds!

Mmm, bra... *nom*

And he's a cat, so he can get away with more.

Cats and drying rack

When I sit for cats, I have to fold down my drying rack! They can't stay off the blasted thing (and it doesn't even have a platform, like yours)

I leave mine up most of the time. He likes to lay on it like that. I am a little surprised that the whole thing hasn't broken yet.

I love how he's all, "Hmmm, okay, this is mine, and this is mine, and - oh, sure, I'll take this, too!"

[identity profile] bertine.livejournal.com 2009-03-04 04:26 pm (UTC)(link)
He had already brought one to my bedroom and left it there. I have no idea why.

Susan hasn't done this for a long time (which is too bad, 'cause it's really cute), but for awhile, she loved to drag socks around in her mouth, making this "Mrrroooowwwwrrrrr!" noise. Then she'd arrange them in what I have no doubt were artistic and meaningful patterns. She looked so pleased with herself!

Aw, what a scamp Xerxes is.

He is a cutie.

I bet we can come up with much more interesting explanations.

You sure do like polka-dots.

I bet you could but they wouldn't be true. :P

I love polka dots! They are my favorite pattern.
