Tax Return

So, I am getting a pretty hefty tax return this year. I have plans for most of it (Burning Man ticket, car repairs, ROTH IRA) but I want to take about $150 of it and buy something that I want. I keep debating a few things:

1. A point and shoot camera. I lost mine in Korea and didn't really care because it was 5 or 6 years old. I like Eric's camera but it is sometimes a huge pain to carry. Plus he will at somepoint want it back.

2. An ipod touch. My one and only ipod is a 4 year old shuffle and with this one I could could watch TV in bed. (Yeah, I know it is more than $150, I would use my flat screen tv fund).

3. Put it in my flat screen TV fund. Eric is moving out this summer and then I will be TV less. Not a huge problem except I like playing Wii. Plus sometimes I watch movies and it would be really nice to hang the TV on the wall.

Also, you should go to Toxic Airborne Event at the Triple Rock on 2/27 with me. I am excited!

Oh gawd! Don't tempt me to sell you my iTouch so I can buy an iPhone...

I've heard more than one person say they wished they'd just gotten an iPhone instead of the iTouch. I should get one too. It's sad they still don't have a camera flash. :-/

It's really a dilemma. Getting the iPhone means jacking up my cell bill $30 per month. I'm not sure it's worth it. I do love the iTouch though, and to have ALL of it's functionality, ALL of the time is so tempting...

If you decided to sell it I am sure we could come to an arraignment.

Are you sure we need to go so far as an arraignment? I'm sure we could work things out over a nice cup of coffee and some bacon!

I'd be willing to give you my 26" CRT TV and a digital converter box.

:)

Let me see next summer when the TV I have leaves.

I'd go for #3. I'm a huge fan of increased house beautification/functionality.

I am just worried I would buy it and never use it. I am not a huge tv watcher.

You could use it to expand your social potential though... have people over for a movie night, or a "Sex and the City" night, or something like that :)
