Don't get me wrong, I love Eric but he is driving me nuts right now. He tells me how much of a slob I am, moved everything around and is throwing a poker party tonight when all I wanted to do was watch Cowboy Bebop. I guess I wouldn't have it any other way but I am irritated regardless.

Bah, I hate being irrational.


OK, I am much better now that it has been an hour.

Bleah. Sounds like he's trying to change you, by verbal force and environmental shifting. Is this meant to be a long term thing? Cause if so, he's doing it wrong.

He has been my roommate for three years and is my youngest brother. He was deployed to Iraq last June and just came back for R&R. I just got used to living alone again. I am better now.

that is what i had to remember. in the military you don't have all the random stuff that normal life has (like my piles of mail that was sorted to when i had to take care of them).

The best rule for living together is that there should never be two angry/upset people in the same room at the same time. If you both can learn to recognize who is irritated at the moment, then you can handle that just fine. Your apartment is big enough to avoid each other for some time, isn't it?
