I hate computer networking

I always somehow end up messing up my network and then it takes me hours to configure it correctly again because while I always think I know this stuff I just can't get it work right. It has got to be related to that same part of my brain that gets me lost all the time.

At least the frustration got me to clean my bedroom.

I know I missed it this time, but I'll help anytime. :-) I've never done anything too fancy on my home networks, but I'm moderately knowledgeable. (I imagine you're hosting sites behind a firewall or three with static IPs or using NAT, none of which I've done but all of which I've helped others do in my old jobs at Qwest for DSL and dial support.)

It is a little more complicated than that. I have a box that I want in the DMZ so I can use it as an FTP server but I want it behind two routers also. I think I figured out how to do it after talking to the sysadmin here at work but I might take you up on your offer if it doesn't work. I ahve such a low frustration level with this stuff.
