Senate Race

Is the MN senate race really 600 votes apart? Now I am glad of my decision yesterday morning.

It might not be, after the recount *holds out hope*

I am holding out hope too.

It's races like this that show the importance of every vote.

Exactly. I wasn't going vote for Franken because he annoys me but decided to do it at the last moment because the race was so close.

...and that's ok!

The news just said because the number is so close, it has to get a mandatory recount. So, no one has won yet.

I know! Hopefully it will go against Coleman.

You shouldn't be.

Me too. Even if Coleman wins, this race sent him a very loud message and I hope he hears it.

I'm sure he'll really care about "the message" after he wins and continues buttfucking all of us Minnesotans for another few years.

I tend to agree with [livejournal.com profile] inclementine. It isn't like he had a huge mandate in the last election (which he won against Mondale who was a last minute replacement for Wellstone) and he still acted like everyone agrees with him.

My Dad is convinced that if Coleman does win he'll try and cozy up with Obama, just because he's more concerned with his own power than anything else. Of course, I tend to agree, since he used to be Democrat until he realized it couldn't get him anywhere. Cynical, yes. Untrue? Prove me wrong. He's a supreme suck up.
