Sugar
'tis the season to improve myself. Along with my annual attempt at stopping my bad habit of biting my nails until they are bloody, I am going to try and give up sugar. Not all sugar but sugar pop and candy, two mainstays of my diet. It has really started to affect me when I have some, I get jittery and cranky. I also, as usual, need to lose some weight so this should help that too.

I was eating pounds of candy a day. A little self control and you can change that. I do still occasionally "need" candy when my blood sugar dips too low (start getting dizzy and tired), but if I do need it I buy just enough to get me by, and I try not to keep any onhand. It helps.
