Today

Today Jens, Anne and I went to Duluth and the North Shore. We went shopping at the Duluth Pack store, we walked around Gooseberry Falls State Park, we ate at this place on Lake Superior that had good sandwiches and a dip that made my mouth swell up and then we went to the casino in Hinckley where I played blackjack for the first time ever. It was pretty much exactly what I needed today. Well, other than the allergic reaction part.

i'm so jealous...except for the allergic reaction.

duluth is my favorite city. chris and i honeymooned on the north shore.

My mouth is still all weird, I hate how half the time this stuff happens and I have no idea what caused it. Sigh.

I like Duluth but I love the North Shore. I could spend ages there. When I was in high school my church group biked from Elk River to Tofte and that really made me love that section of the world.

Go up there for a day trip. It only took three hours to get to gooseberry!

i want to go to duluth so badly! almost 17 years in minnesota, and i've never been! everyone raves & i want to see what the excitement is all about!

maybe jake would be up for a daytrip with the kids (or maybe grandma would like a grandma day with the kids!) this summer...

You should do it! It was a very easy drive (2.5 hours to Duluth and then another to gooseberry). It is super pretty and awesome.

I heart the entire north shore area. I think I would move up there if I were not kinda scared of the winters.
