Yep ya gotta start thinking about putting in a load before you go to work in the mornings. That always worked the best for me when I had one of those. Just don't overload the thing. I guess thats true of any washer/dryer but moreso with these. If it isn't near your bedroom you could do a load overnight too.

my plan, after i assure myself that the plumbing isn't going to fail on me, is to put a load in every day before i go to work. i have a drying rack too so i can get a load of things i don't want to dry before i go to bed too.

the otherside of that pink wall (which is a half wall) is my bedroom. however, i can sleep through pretty much anything. the question is if the spin will be too much for my downstairs neighbor. i'll check tomorrow when i get a load all the way done. i am so scared that she will complain and i will have an appliance i can't use. :\

also, hi! how are you?

Put a cosy pillow on top and Harriet will love it, too!

actually, she loves the drying rack that i have been using to dry things. she thinks they are new play toys!

You know what? It takes me a couple of hours to wash and dry my clothes anyway, because I usually forget to take them out right away of those coin-operated affairs my apartment complex has. What a compact little machine! Your little washer/dryer seems like the perfect way to do laundry.

Just think! You'll never have to scrounge for quarters or wear your "laundromat clothes" again. Unless you want to for nostalgia.

i always forget too so really, once i learn how to work this machine better, i am going to be set! plus it is so cute and actually really quiet. I am shocked at how quiet it is.

good point! plus maybe i will stop buying so many clothes because i don't want to do laundry!

it is! it is SUPER AWESOME. mostly because the one thing that i forget to do is switch my laundry

The wash usually takes 30-45 minutes and an hour in the direr anyway. Is that a two-in-one unit?

[identity profile] bertine.livejournal.com 2007-04-16 09:00 pm (UTC)(link)
yes it is!

the wash takes about 40 mins and about two hours to dry. so i guess it isn't so bad!

[identity profile] polyranger.livejournal.com 2007-04-16 09:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Not too bad at all. I'd need two of those now though seeing as I am doing laundry for four. :)

But that rocks! Does it start the dry cycle as soon as it is completed washing or do you have to it manually?

[identity profile] bertine.livejournal.com 2007-04-16 09:28 pm (UTC)(link)
well, with four people i would have figured out a way to vent the dryer and would have gotten full sized ones.

nope, it goes right into the dry cycle after washing. i figure i will start a load before i go to work every morning, though it will take some time for me to catch up with all the dirty clothes i have.
