i love the smell of coffee. however, i need to remember that no matter how much i love the smell of it, I DO NOT LIKE THE TASTE OF IT.

i totally wasted 3 dollars on that latte that is getting cold in my car now. sigh.

My husband is the same way. Loves the smell but can't stand the taste once it's brewed. He can, however, eat the coffee beans.

i like chocolate cover coffee beans too. i just keep thinking that one day i will just suddenly like coffee so i keep trying.

What about good European coffee...and I don't mean the fake European coffee you get at Starbucks? I NEVER EVER drink coffee of any kind in the U.S. but when I'm in Europe I love an espresso in the morning. My favorite coffee is an African coffee that they serve in Portugal. It's so smooth that it's almost chocolatey. Wish I remembered the name of it. Maybe I'll just have to make a roadtrip to Lisbon some weekend to pick some up.

Well if you ever find yourself in Lisbon order a Bica (which is like and expresso) and add a couple sugar cubes. Heaven! I like Spanish coffee too but I have to have that with milk and sugar because it's a little bitter. Cafe con leche. Or if you are really adventurous you could go for the Cafe con Ponche Caballero! Three or 4 of those and you'll never remember why you hated coffee so much in the first place. :p

hehe...well I'm in Germany this week so it's a little far right now. But we are working in Spain as well so next time I'm in Madrid I'll make the roadtrip to Lisbon. I lived in Spain for 3 years and Portugal for 2 so getting back there is always nice.

white mochas are the best!!! if you just make yourself drink it you will get used to it. I used to be the same way, but now i can't go without drinking it in the morning.
