i know this is weird but i keep wondering if i could go somewhere and just get a hand massage. my hand is so sore lately.

Yes you can. Chair massage is usually a dollar a minute and they will work on (just about) any part of teh body you work on. Or you can meet at work sometime and I can work on it. I am a certified massage therapist.

When I was in esthetics a hand massage was par the course with manicure.
It's very possible to get one at a local salon or spa.

maybe try rubbing it with a muscle rub and wrap it in a towel to let the heat relax it.
