ING

I have a savings account with ING. A couple weeks ago I opened a CD with them to keep myself from spending the money. Anyways, they sent me all the Account Terms stuff and I am very impressed with how well written it is. You can actually read it easily and they have a sense of humor about it. Very nice.

Plus their savings accounts are paying 4.35% APY.

ING is my parent company. I like to hold them in my arms at night.

the CD was 5.25% for 12 months!!! it is insane. i threw half of my savings in there (which isn't much since i blew my savings on windows) and am thinking about doing a CD ladder.

I just love how easy they make saving easy for me.

oooh I have considered opening up a savings account there. I might do it. Do they still have the referral service (You used to could get 25 bucks for each person you referred. . . if so, you can refer me)

and the interest is good

plus, it takes 2 or 3 days to transfer it back into your regular account, so it is hard to "borrow" some for other stuff.

That's my one complaint. Sometimes I don't plan ahead, like when I was looking for another house to buy. I needed $2k in earnest money but didn't have it right away.

hee I be kidding.

Yeah, ING is the best! I have like 5 savings accounts with them, 2 CD's and a mortgage. Beware with the CD's though, mine are currently earning less than what they're paying for my savings account, but still much more than anywhere else...

Did they tell you if you're supposed to pronounce 'ING' or just say the letters?
